Local defense attorney Dustin Kirby graduated from Duke University in 2002 and the University of Georgia School of Law, with honors, in 2005. During his time there, he was honored to be an Articles Editor on the University of Georgia Law Review where he wrote his note on a particularly troublesome process being carried out by the District Attorney’s office and was able to try his first case to an acquittal before ever graduating. Thanks to an offer at the Western Circuit Public Defender’s Office, he was able to stay in Athens, practice his passion and make a home before opening his own firm in 2009.
Now, working with Billy Olson and J.J. Frazier, he’s looking to help the next generation of hometown heroes maximize their earning potential and get set up for success after their playing days.
